The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 provides comprehensive front-door security and smart home connectivity. This device functions as a high-definition video doorbell and a Zigbee 3.0 hub via its included indoor chime, connecting your Aqara sensors and devices. A key feature is its support for Apple HomeKit Secure Video, which ensures your video recordings are encrypted and stored privately in your iCloud account. The G4 also includes on-device AI for facial recognition, allowing for specific notifications and automations based on who is at your door, with all processing done locally for improved privacy. Installation is flexible, with options for battery power or connection to existing doorbell wiring (12-24V AC or 8-24V DC). The included Chime Repeater produces an alert up to 95 dB, extends the Wi-Fi connection, and serves as the Zigbee 3.0 hub. Video can be recorded to a local microSD card (up to 512 GB), a NAS storage device, or the cloud. The camera provides a 1080p resolution with a 162° wide-angle view and is compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa.
