Modus Systems engages the services of third party courier services with delivery only to destinations within South Africa. Delivery will be concluded between 1 – 7 working days from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), subject to payment and order confirmation before 12h00. Depending on origin and destination, a further delay of up to 48 hours may be experienced on shipments to outlying areas. A delivery fee between R0.00 to R300.00, including VAT, will be levied against all orders. 

  • Delivery service will commence upon payment confirmation being received unless supporting documents are requested i.e. in the case of the verification of a TV License with a valid ID.
  • Deliveries will generally be made within the timeframe of the selected delivery type after collection from point of dispatch and between major centres from Monday to Fridays.
  • We deliver from Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00 to both business and residential addresses.
  • No deliveries will be made on the weekend or any public holiday.
  • We will notify you of a failed delivery i.e. when no one can be reached at the specified delivery address to receive and sign for the goods at the scheduled time. We will reschedule the delivery as soon as possible.
  • In the regrettable event that you receive a damaged product, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of delivery on onlinesupport@modusit.co.za. We will do our utmost best to have the damaged product collected and a new product delivered to you within 7 business days.
  • Should the incorrect items or quantity of items be delivered to you, you need to notify us immediately so that we can rectify the situation. You can notify us on onlinesupport@modusit.co.za and we will get our team to collect the incorrect items and replace them as soon as possible.

Though we endeavour to fulfil all orders placed online, we depend on our suppliers to confirm the availability of stock. While our systems are synced, we may not always have the correct stock amounts. In the event that goods are paid for, and we later realise that our suppliers cannot fulfil the order, a full refund of the purchase amount will be refunded to you as soon as this is realised.  We will always endeavour to complete your order at the price and quantity quoted when the order was placed.

We are not responsible for the stock availability from our suppliers; however, we make reasonable efforts to have the correct amounts, examining or evaluating the content or accuracy, and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for the unavailability of stock from our suppliers.
