t (model UF-Instant) is a GPON Optical Network Unit (ONU) conveniently packaged in a standard SFP module. This device enables routers or switches with an available SFP port to connect directly to a GPON fibre network, removing the need for a separate modem. It is powered via the SFP port and features a single SGMII Ethernet LAN interface. The UF-Instant conforms to the ITU-T G.984 GPON standard, making it a versatile solution for fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) and fibre-to-the-business (FTTB) applications.
